Week 7 Theme - "READ!"

I am a huge lover of learning and I have an unquenchable desire to read, read, read for pleasure and wisdom. :) One of my biggest wishes is to have a library in my house (with one of those cool sliding ladders, ya know?), so I could slide and read and slide and read my days away! 

When I heard of The National Education Association's "Read Across America" Event, I was super excited to jump on board and show my support. Anything that brings awareness to the importance of reading, learning and cuddling that come from good book, is something I want to celebrate! So, aside from celebrating & supporting the "Read Across America" event on the P&P FB page, 

I thought this week's theme for our "52 Moments Project" should, of course be.... "READ!"

A little more about "NEA's Read Across America."

NEA's Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading and on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss!

NEA's Read Across America also provides NEA members, parents, caregivers, and children the resources and activities they need to keep reading on the calendar 365 days a year.

With that being said.... grab those cameras & get you "READ" on!!!

Capturing 52 Moments Project?

First time participants - Snap 1 moment a week with us! 
Here's how....
Through this project, we're hoping to help ourselves treasure life a little more deeply by stopping the chaos to "capture one moment" a week and bottle it in our hearts forever! This project is about being deliberate to freeze "time" and relish in the beauty of it's emotion. "Capturing Moments" through pictures, videos or artwork (like Piggies & Paws), gives us tangible ways to revisit memories and fully relive the beautiful moments that all too quickly become our past.

So, I hope you join our little group as we become more deliberate in calming, capturing and ceasing every beautiful moment that will bring us memories of happiness to last our lifetime. Stopping time, in a single moment, to cherish what is truly important. I don't know what deserves our time and attention more  than that, do you?
